Acoustic Guitar
- Guitar: Suzuki SUA-D
- The Acoustic Guitar was recorded with the Tiki placed about a foot away from the guitar, pointed in between the sound hole and the base of the neck of the guitar
- The acoustic guitar was doubled (both recordings done in with the same placement) and each track was hard-panned to opposite sides of the mix
- No effects, EQ, or compression were used on the acoustic guitar track
Electric Guitar
- Fender Strat running through a Fender Bassman TV Ten amp
- Tiki was placed on a Snowball stand and pointed directly at the center of the speaker cone, about 4-6 inches away
- Stock GarageBand reverb was used on the electric guitar
Bass Guitar
- Fender P-Bass running through a Fender Bassman TV Ten amp
- Tiki was placed on a Snowball stand and pointed directly at the center of the speaker cone, about 4-6 inches away
- Stock GarageBand compression was used on the bass guitar
Shaker 1
- Rhythm Tech “Studio” Shaker
- Tiki was placed about 18 inches away from the shaker
- No EQ, effects, or compression were used on the shaker 1 track
Shaker 2
- Latin Percussion “Shake It” Shaker
- Tiki was placed about 18 inches away from the shaker
- No EQ, effects, or compression were used on the shaker 2 track
Cowbell
- Latin Percussion “Ridge Rider” Cowbell
- Tiki was placed approximately 3 feet away from Cowbell
- Stock GarageBand reverb was used on the Cowbell
Woodblock
- Tiki was placed about 2 feet from the woodblock

Tambourine

- Tiki was placed approximately 3 feet from tambourine

Bongos

- Tiki was placed about “calf level” below the bongos. bongos were set at about chest level. Tiki was pointed toward the bottom of the bongos

“Kick Drum”

- The head of the rack tom was covered with a sheet
- Tiki was placed on a Snowball stand, on the ground, about 3 feet away from the drum and Tiki was pointed toward the point where the shell meets the bottom head
- Stock GarageBand EQ and Compression settings were used on the “Kick Drum”
Bell Tree
