After recording my vocals on various mics for film and record projects, I was introduced to the Blue Mic and never looked back. The Blueberry is my favorite mic and it captures my voice with such clarity. I use it on my record as well as all my film projects!
I have just been introduced to the snowball and I love it! It is the best sounding USB mic I have used. It is so useful when writing songs on the road!

Gingger is the creative force behind some of the most daring, exuberant and technically proficient music being made today. Her haunting, angelic vocals and prolific composition and instrumental talents entwine to create a musical experience unlike any other. The artist and co-composer behind the poignant score of Mel Gibson's 2005 box office hit The Passion Of The Christ, Gingger has lent her voice and vision to several diverse projects ranging from soundtracks to soulful pop and electronic hip-hop.
An extraordinarily gifted singer, virtuoso violinist, model and songwriter, Gingger was born into one of India's most acclaimed musical families. Gingger's natural talents were nurtured from birth and flourished as she began to build her own identity in the world of music, embracing all of the genres and creative experiences that have shaped her life as an artist.
Gingger is the only female in the world that has mastered the 10-string Double Violin, an instrument that covers the entire range of the orchestra's double bass, cello, viola and violin, and of which there are currently only two in existence. Coupled with her voice, which covers five octaves, the sound is unparalleled, unbridled, and unforgettable.
Gingger has collaborated with such uniquely talented and varied artists as Shankar, Zakir Hussain, Phil Collins, Steve Vai, Smashing Pumpkins, Peter Gabriel, Trent Reznor and Tony Levin, to name just a few. She was the recipient of a World Peace Music Award and also received a scoring achievement award from the prestigious IFFLA for her groundbreaking contribution to film scores like The Passion Of The Christ.
Touring internationally she has garnered critical acclaim, performing at world events such as The Concert for Global Harmony and Nelson Mandella's 80th Birthday celebrations. She also participated in Fiddlefest, a benefit for the Harlem Center For Strings at the Apollo Theater. Her DVD, One in a Million, became the #1 DVD in the country, spending 4 weeks at #1 on the U.S. Soundscan / Billboard charts
In 2007, Gingger was one of only six film composers selected from around the world to attend the prestigious Music Composer’s fellowship at the Sundance Film Institute. This year also saw her appear at the Hollywood Bowl on the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Album with Cheap Trick and accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.
Gingger recently guested on Saul Williams' new record, produced by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails). Her music can also be heard in Mike Nichol's film, "Charlie Wilson's War" starring Tom Hanks, where she had a chance to collaborate with film composer James Newton Howard.
In February of 2008, Gingger debuted with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as a soprano in Osvaldo Golijov's opera "Ainadamar". She also performed concerts exploring the roots of Indian and Flamenco music with master musicians from both traditions. Her voice can also be heard in Jackie Chan's film, "The Forbidden Kingdom".
In the fall of 2009, Gingger appeared as a special guest with the Smashing Pumpkins on their 20th Anniversary tour. During that time, Gingger debuted at Carnegie Hall as a soprano in the opera ‘Ainadamar’. She also composed music for the Sundance award winning documentary ‘Recycle’. In 2010 she appeared as a headliner for the Sundance Film Festival’s opening night.
As a solo artist, Gingger is dedicated to stretching her boundaries and spreading her wings, always experimenting with elegant and exciting mixtures of sounds. She weaves an intricate tapestry of musical styles that entrances audiences worldwide, and the grace and beauty of her creative presence continue to be the golden thread running through every song she touches.
She is currently finishing work on her new album, as well as a Sundance feature film and documentary. For more information, visit www.myspace.com/gingger.
